Went to the salon the other day and was told she could smell rust build up in my hair...?

Any way to remove rust from your hair at home, something that wont hurt my hair? Rather than paying for a Malibu treatment at the salon?

I I told her we use a water softener for our well water and she said it doesnt matter rust build up can occur.

you can't smell it for one. and malibu would really do the best we sell malibu to our clients to do at home. but if you need another alternative then a clarifying shampoo or baking soda with your shampoo, and dont use a crappy shampoo, Also malibu makes a shampoo for well water works wonders.
