Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

well i got this strange cicle with no hair, part on my hair(scalp),any1 can help me what the thing is???and what is the treatment for this...???it is kinda a circle thing....with no hair growing on it,well recenty ive been eating noodles.....what are the causes of this.....?will the hair EVER grow back T.T

Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

loss of hair is caused by lack of vitamins. Taking copious amounts of class A drugs wont help this matter.

So lay off the smack. Yes we can tell you are a bag head!

Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

I'm 21 and my hair recedes quite far i just have a long fringe you could always go with a comb over lol

Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

It's a normal part of the aging process, and has NOTHING to do with noodles. If you're uncomfortable with the way it appears, try the "cheap" route and shave your head bald. Some woman really dig bald men. If that don't work, you either fork out the money for Hans Weimen (or whatever; hair replacement; you get the idea) ... or you DEAL with it!

GL and God Bless!

Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

It sounds like you may be describing a bald spot.

I don't know your age, but if you are over 18, it probably won't grow back, unless there is some underlying cause, say a scalp irritation or dermatitis.

Hair loss PLEASE HELP!?

I know only one effective treatment for hair loss. Generic propecia is an innovation among medicines for male hair loss. It's the first drug that actually effectively treats male pattern hair loss on the vertex (at top of head) and anterior mid-scalp area.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

My hair is very thick and I've been growing it long. It's now about halfway down my back. My problem is that the outer layers of my hair are very healthy and shiny, but the layer underneath, closest to my neck is very thin and has started to break. I've noticed split ends and dullness. I asked my hair stylist if she could trim these areas, but she said it would look uneven to trim them and not the rest of my hair. I've tried hot wax treatments, heat-styling protection, and special conditioners. I feel like I'm just wasting money. Does anyone have any other ideas? Sorry this was such a long question.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

ask them to razor your hair and thin it out it will help

or ask them to cut it with texturizing scissors because it doesn't chop of length as much as getting rid of split ends and thinning

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

it dsnt mater cute like a half inch of everythin

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

try being gentle with this section of ur hair... and don't brush it too much....

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

just cut the half inch off of everything-i promise your hair will grow faster like that

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

Use a conditioner on your hair and leave it on for like 5 minutes try putting a hair cap on over your hair with the conditioner mixed into your hair and leave on for 5 minutes to let your body heat work with your hair this will help bring back some of the dullness. The split ends are split, but this will help it look shinier and a little healthier. Good Luck! Do this every other day at least!

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

Well, ther's a puzzeler for ya!

If I'm getting this right, when you put your hair into a pony tail, the underneath is what is bothering you? Do you wear it up alot?? How often are you having it cut? Sounds to me like you DO need that cut but ti's really hard for me understand. Is your stylist thinking that you want ALL of your hair cut to that length? Sorry hunny....I just can't seem to get it without a picture. If you could post one, that would be great. See if you can get someone to take a pic of what your talking about. Sounds to me like cutting it underneath shouldn't be a problom if I'm gettin' you.

Sorry I wasen't much help!

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

You can't expect your hair to grown if you have split ends. When I was in middle school my hair was really long but I had split ends really bad--when my stylist chopped it all off my hair grew big time.....I don't think that it would look right if you cut underneath just cut it especially if it has grown this far it wouldn't be a problem for it to grow back.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

yeah, tell your hair dresser that she suppose to give good advice and cut it it will grow back.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

i've heard both sides of it. i realize the factor of the heat, but someone said it was moist heat and not as damaging to your hair. i have a ceramic flat iron and i have to use it everyday with my new hairstyle or my hair poofs out. i do the minimal amount necessary to keep my hair flat and on low heat. so second question, if it is damaging, how can i help minimize the damage? are there any shampoos/conditioners/leave in treatments that will help nourish the hair?

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

well yes it is cause i fries your hairr..

well to help damages.. buy hair damgeing spray..

and spray on before and after your straighten your hair..

but make sure you do not straighten your hair while its wet..

cause that could reallly kill off your hair..

i am currently going to school for cosmo..

soo no worries i straighten my hair as well and i have used it for years soo you should be fine

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

Yep, and I do it every day. :D

Get a heat protecting cream to put in on wet hair befre you blow dry/straighten, such has L'oreal Hot Straight

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

I have a wet to straight iron, and i don't use it everyday. If you want to use it every day then you might want to get a different kind. I don't think you can minimize the damage, if there is any.

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

Hot oil treatment and damaging repair shampoos(e.g. sunsilk) there are many shampoos and conditioners that repair your hair's imperfections. Search the google site. You'll find a lot!

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

I always had my hair in layers and naturally my hair are wavy so i always had to straighten my har up cuz thats how i liked it but i cant tell you how much the ironing has damaged my hair..they r rough, lost their shininess, i have lost heaps of hair...so i'd suggest NO, try not to use those straightners! even those ceramic ones....use it rarely cuz ud regret it later on...its not only me...all of my friends n their friends whoeva uses it regrets it later on...you wont see the damage in week or months it'll show after a year or so..

only home made remdies might work cuz all the shampoos n condtioners also have chemicals n all so try home remedies such as:

1 egg

juice of one lemon

3-4 table spoon of yougurt...

mix it all up really well and then apply to your hair especially your roots...leave it to dry for bout 30 min to hr...then wash it as you normally wash your hair...you'll notice your hair is shiny n silky...works really well for dandruff as well...

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

Straightening your hair is the worst thing you can do. It removes shine, gloss and natural oils your hair contains. You should try experimenting with different styles, like using hair putty to make your look really edgy. If you really have to straighten it, you should get your hair deep conditioned regularly as this puts essential nutrients back into your hair and my help to curb the long term damage caused by straighteners.

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

Yes. You can get a heat protection spray. That helps it to prevent your hair from '' Frying ''. One that I recommend is the SUAVE one. They make a good one.

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

yes , im a hair dresser for tony and guy and every day i see people with bad hair because of this. first thing you need to do is get yourself a mousterising shampoo and conditioner and then buy yourself 2 heat protection sprays, one when youe hairs wet and use the other one right b4 ur gonna straighten your hair . also buy a weekly deep conditioner which you shud leave on 8 minutes or so. youll soon see the difference and youl find your hair gets better, also i find that heat isnt the issue its how many times you go over one piece of hair e.g a low heat appliance you will have to go over your hair about 3 times before its straight. with ghds etc you only need to do that once. hope this helps

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

I heard it was bad to have a perm %26amp;%26amp; straighten it.

Is flat-ironing your hair bad for it?

it damages your hair some if you flat iron it every day but its not gonna make your hair fall out and be bald or anything drastic like that....

best wishes

Mine is a cruly hair, iam suffering with a lot of hair fall how can i maintain my hair can you sugge

i have tried a lot of treatments but results was not found can u suggest me the shampoo to be used and treatment to be done for the growth of my hair.

Mine is a cruly hair, iam suffering with a lot of hair fall how can i maintain my hair can you suggest me?

Stress can seriously affect your hair falling out. Have you been under a great amount of stress lately?

Also, your diet is a contributing factor. Try eating plenty of fresh veggies and stay away from fried food.

Go to GNC and buy some BIOTIN. This is a B-vitamin that aids in body growth, specifically hair and nails.

Hope this helps!

Mine is a cruly hair, iam suffering with a lot of hair fall how can i maintain my hair can you suggest me?

trying using a lot of conditioner.

Mine is a cruly hair, iam suffering with a lot of hair fall how can i maintain my hair can you suggest me?

Sometimes your hair just falls out. I'm 15 and I have hair fall out on a regular basis. My hair tends to fall out in the spring and summer. I think that it is just a seasonal thing.

Mine is a cruly hair, iam suffering with a lot of hair fall how can i maintain my hair can you suggest me?

Hair fall could be as a result of series of physical and hormonic problems. I would get my thyroid checked. I would also look into a product called "Rogaine." I would also used the same brand in shampoo and conditioner. Good Luck!

Is there any hair spray thorugh which my hairs remain wet ? or thats only for wet look .?

problem is same want to get rid of curly hairs coz i want to grow my hairs ... and dun want an expensive treatment

Is there any hair spray thorugh which my hairs remain wet ? or thats only for wet look .?

If curls are your issue, get styling products meant for curly hair. I think you want more of a gel or cream.

Hair spray often contains alcohol which can dry your hair and make it frizzier.

After radiation and hair dye?

people are telling me i cant dye my hair. is that right. i just finished my last radiation treatment for cancer, after i had the hysterectomy.

After radiation and hair dye?

Well, you may loose your hair, for one. Seems kinda pointless to spend that money when in 3 weeks your gonna loose it.

As far as actual health dangers though... I was advised to wait until I my white blood count was back up into the normal range. Reason being the dye does get absorbed into the scalp. I tend to use temp coloring rather than bleach, so I always end up with a dyed scalp for the first few days. The chemicals absorbed into your skin could cause an infection.

Also, if you received any radiation to the head/brain, your skin will be sensitive. The chemicals could burn or other wise irritate your skin.

Also, in perm coloring, the bleach and amonia is very hard on the lungs. Right after treatment you are very susectable to lung infections

What is an Aphogee treatment?

I have severe hair breakage from damage from overprocessing bleach from frosted hair from a beautician; someone said I should get an aphogee treatment; what exactly is it?

What is an Aphogee treatment?

Here is the website. Like the girl said before me try not 2 comb it that much b/c the product if left 2 long on the hair becomes hard. It does make the hair stronger. I like the Aphogee green tea restrucurizer.

But make sure you pick up the right 1 b/c the packages come in different colors you can find them either in a salon or your local BSS. Hope this helps.

What is an Aphogee treatment?

hi :p yea I like going 2 sallys.Take care and thx 4 picking me 4 a good answer. Report It

What is an Aphogee treatment?

Its just a protein treatment that will help with the breakage. Depending on what formulat you get, you will put it on and either sit under the dryer or use a hand held one to dry the product onto your hair---please do not try to comb your hair. After its dry, rinse it out and follow with a good conditioner. It really helps with breakage especially if you have permed, relaxed, or color treated hair.

What is an Aphogee treatment?

Its a good treatment for damaged hair and I've seen people use it and in 6 weeks their hair that was once thin before become nice and thick.

What is an Aphogee treatment?

a waste of money. broken hair cannot be repaired. it needs to be cut off. the stylist wants to get into your checkbook.

it won't feel like hair once it's done. it feels like horse hair or hay.

it's not soft like hair. it won't bounce or move. it looks dull and lifeless.

Fellas Over masturbation causes hair loss....?

Recent advance in the treatment of male pattern baldness have revealed that hair loss in males is directly related to DHT and the amount in your body. It is also an understanding that the production of DHT is related to sex and/or masturbation. With that in mind, does that mean there is a link between hair loss and masturbation?

Over-masturbation or over-ejaculation converts too much testosterone into dihydrotestosterone(DHT). High levels of DHT overload the body causing baldness and possible prostate enlargement if blood circulation is poor in the prostate area. Reducing the frequency of masturbation or ejaculation will help maintain low levels of DHT and avoid hair loss.

Fellas Over masturbation causes hair loss....?

Wow I never new that..... I cant realy say for sure..........can u list ur sourses

Shawn c.

Fellas Over masturbation causes hair loss....?

I was watching Talk Sex, and someone asked this. She said that you barely lose testostrone while masturbating, so hair loss is not related. Sounds like mumbo jumbo to me.

Fellas Over masturbation causes hair loss....?

what a joke

if over masturbating caused hair loss all men would be bald

Solution for stress related female hair thinning?

Two years ago at age 34 I ended an abusive relationship in divorce, lost alot of money in the process, sold two businesses and moved. About a year later I noticed thinning hair which has been getting worse. I tried hair extensions for six months which mage the problem worse... hair was being pulled out. I have stopped that and am trying recovery solutions.

I am on high dose supplemetns including biotin and L-cystein, am relaxing and exercising, and eating protien and found a scalp treatment from medicsuticals which uses biotin and essential oils to stimulate hair growth cycel.

Do you have nay other ides on what to do that could help or how long it should be before results are realized on the treatment I am on?

Solution for stress related female hair thinning?

You need to have your thyroid checked. That is the first symptom of an underactive thyroid.

And are you purposely loosing weight? A crash diet will cause you to loose a lot of hair.

How do I get my hair to grow?

I am mixed and I have different hair. If I put grease in my hair it seems to ruin it yet it is so dry. I have shoulder length hair and I just got over pregnancy now my hair is shedding like crazy. What kinds of vitamins and treatments should I put in my hair and what should I do to maintatin it without using a straightner which I use every 3 days.

How do I get my hair to grow?

Use the shampoo Pantene or Head and Shoulders/

How do I get my hair to grow?

use garneir frutis long and strong shampoo

How do I get my hair to grow?

Use a shampoo/conditioner with sage, rosemary, nettles and horsetail. These herbs are known to stimulate hair growth, probably by stimulating circulation to the scalp. Also taking these herbs helps too as well as a high protein diet with lots of calcium and magnesium. If your diet isn't good, your hair will show it. Regular trims will help it grow in healthier and try not to use any heat treatments such as blow drying, curling or straightening. Steam curlers and just regular foam curlers work fine with no damage to the hairl

How do I get my hair to grow?

theres a natural hir growing oil that definitely seemed ot help with my hairloss- you want to try that- its at www.katuri.com some oil used by geishas.

You must be still on the prenatal right, I think you are getting enough vitamins, its just your hair shedding,.

Have you tried John Frieda's products- the serum is very light and unfrizzes and detangles.

If you comb it straight, it stays stright, and if you make it curly, it curls

How do I get my hair to grow?

Rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar and sage tea helps in hair growth. Boil rosemary leaves in water and use this water while washing your hair daily to improve hair growth. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

Aphoge treatment?

Has anyone had good results with using the 2 step treatment with-out heat? I don't have a cap/hat hair dryer %26amp; it's too difficult to just use a hand dryer ( I have thick hair so it starts to hurt my arm/shoulder by holding up the hand dryer for that long). So, has anyone used this with letting it just air dry to become hard?

Aphoge treatment?

I have used the Aphogee treatment and just let my hair air dry. Obviously, it takes a little longer but it still works.

I was using a lice treatment it went in my eyes something bad......?

Hi, ok so one morning i got up to use my lice treatment i was rinsining it out of my hair it got in my eyes. I forgot to rinse out my eyes i went into the kitchen, And i got those blotchy things u usually get when you look into a light, so anyway they got way bigger eventually i could see nothing! expect a glone outline of the cupbords my dads shorts and the tv , it was scary.. it lasted for about 10 minutes my dad rushed me to the washroom everything became white with the glowing again! i could barley here anything, So i rinsed out my eyes and everything went back to normal the colour in objects came back and the glowness was gone... but what caused it? i was using the R and C lice treatment.

I was using a lice treatment it went in my eyes something bad......?

Why would you not rinse it out of your eyes???!!! Didn't you read the WARNING: Do not get into eyes or ingest? You could have very well been blinded for good. I'm glad you're okay. Ever heard of people swallowing Visine when it is made for your eyes?? Thats kinda like your situation but opposite. Kinda like getting shampoo in your eyes. Burns doesn't it???

I was using a lice treatment it went in my eyes something bad......?

There should had have been a warning about the product getting into your eyes. All lice treatment has a chemical in which well burn your eyes and will make your eyes with the lice treatment inside all fuzzy and blurred. Just be careful not to open your eyes when using lice treatment. The chemicals also should do the things that you mentioned when it gets into your eyes.

Does anyone know if taking anti-biodics for a period of time will cause your hair to thin?

A few months ago I was in the hospital with a colon problem and took anti-biodics for about a week. After I came home I was prescribed with about 10 days more to finish my treatment. I have noticed lately that my hair seem to come out more and I just wondered if it had anything to do with taking the anti-biodics.

Does anyone know if taking anti-biodics for a period of time will cause your hair to thin?

Possibly, but it could be any number of health problems - you should probably see a doctor about this. It could be unrelated and treatable.

Sometimes, hair loss is a reaction to illness. It could also be your thyroid. Or any of about 100 other things.

Help with Poofy Layered hair?

My hair is REALLY poofy and amazingly thick. I had it layered last year. I cant go to the stylist for a while. When I was younger and before it was layered it worked fine but It felt like it wasnt as thick then. It feels like my layers dont blend at all they look like 2 different lengths. My hair is a giant poof ball. I end up always having to put the short layer in a bun so its partially up. The issue is if I cut out the long layer my hair will be about shoulder legnth maybe a bit shorter. I really like longish hair. I cant get any chemical treatments for 4 years! Because I'm only 13

Sunsilk Anti-Poof products work for me.

Help with Poofy Layered hair?

Girl, get ceramic hair straightener. It is the only way. Up til two years ago I had the poofiest hair, the straightener saved my life.

Help with Poofy Layered hair?

Well, what you can do is use a staightener to get rid of the poufiness, or use some anti-frizz hairsprays, like the John Frieda one. Or you could get your hair cut again with subtle layers, because sometimes the hairstylist makes a mistake. I would know because I have curly hair, and when it gets poufy, it stays poufy!

Revision to Bleaching hair question?

My hair is naturally dirty blonde, i had it dark for several years and i needed a change. Damaging my hair is not a concern because after two bleachings it is still conciterably healthy. Doves overnight treatments work great to restore my hair. My concern is will my hair take lighter with bleach

Revision to Bleaching hair question?

you need to wait until the color grows out or use a stripper to strip it out or you are going to have whats called "double processed"

hair and it will literally fall out and yes it will go lighter and lighter until it looks WHITE. just touch up the roots.

Anything i can do for over processed hair?

Okay so i have natural blonde hair and I have been dying my hair black underneath for about 3 years. i decided to go all back blonde. I went to a salon and she bleached it and used toner. It was orange!!! Went back about 3 days later and bleach sat on my hair for 3 hours straight!!! Then she used toner. Well good news is is back to my natural blonde (color is 8n blonde) but the bad news is my hair is FRIED!!!!!!!!! HUH OH!! It has probably gotten about almost 2 inches shorter since then. YIKES! Using lots of leave in conditioner day and night. and deep conditioner once a week... also split end treatment and a nutregena product for over processed hair!!

any more advise!!!!!!!??????!!!!!!

please any help will do.

thanks so much!

Anything i can do for over processed hair?

Did a Licensed Cosmetologist do this to you? You ought to file a complaint if she doesn't offer some help for the situation. Usually it's best to make such drastic changes in steps - especially from very dark to very light shades. Since you skipped that part, you ought to use only very gentle shampoo and conditioners. Avoid over styling your hair. Let it dry naturally if possible, and keep the curling iron or flat iron away from you hair for the next six months or so.

Good luck to you. I've over processed my hair before with perming, and it takes time to get better.

Anything i can do for over processed hair?

Olive oil is good too. All you can do is wait and trim the ends, sorry

Anything i can do for over processed hair?

Unfortunately 'OVER PROCESSED' hair is just that. There is no going back. Be very careful not to over use protein treatments as they will burn your hair.....stick to cholesterol treatments...You can find it in Sally Beauty Supply in large quantities....get the big one as you will be conditioning till this grows out. Shampoo, apply the cholesterol and dampen a towel put it in a micro wave for 2 min. and place it on your head, making sure the towel is not too hot. Leave on for 1/2 hour. You can lightly shampoo this out if you feel you should.

How do I get my hair back to how it used to be!?

I am mixed with black and alot of other things..and i have (or had) really pretty curly hair..I havent had to many treatments done to it, but i did let someone talk me into getting a perm to make it more managable (yea right) a while back and shortly after i dyed it! At first the texture felt fine but gradually I started to notice that my hair didnt feel the same..It feels dry and scraggly (i dont think thats a word but thats how i describe it). It seems like the color is what really made it feel like this and now it doesnt grow as much and as fast as it use to.

So I was just wondering what i can do to get it back to how it was (w/o cutting it) or a great product that works to restore its natural texture and to let it grow faster and stronger once again.

Thanks a bunch!

How do I get my hair back to how it used to be!?

If you have black hair, you have to listen to people that know how to take care of black hair. It isn't the same as other hair. Your hair sounds like it was dried out or damaged. Try nexus keraphix or humectress. Deep condition your hair every time you wash. Hot oil treatments will help. No more chemical processes on your hair until the end of the summer this yr. Your hair is damaged and it needs time to repair itself. Google black hair tips or find a good black salon in your area and get educated on how to take care of YOUR type of hair.

How do I get my hair back to how it used to be!?

I like Bumble and Bumble Deep. It works really well for me.

How do I get my hair back to how it used to be!?

well there is something call skin, hair, and nails. they are like vitamins that will help your hair grow faster and healthier and you can get that at a walmart or cvs or someplace like that. aside from that, trim it regularly. and buy a really good conditioner specifically made for damaged hair and when you put it in, leave it there for 3 or 4 minutes before you rinse it and do this every time you wash your hair. also, for after you are out of the shower try suave professionals smoothing cream. it works so good and it doesnt grease your hair up at all. and it doesnt cost that much.

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Do you have any advice how to deal with really coarse and frizzy, dry hair? I put loads of conditioner and other intensive treatment in it regularly, eat well, trim my hair often, etc. It doesnt seem to make any difference! Straightening is the only way to improve the appearance but obviously dries my hair further so I dont do it more often than once a week. If I dont do it its so so bad... Is cutting it very short the only solution?

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

I have the same problem. I use "Citra-Shine" hair serum. It helps a lot!

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

NO DO NOT CUT IT VERY SHORT.

that is wayyy bad.

i did it once, and it was soo poofy, yet STILL frizzy.

try frizz-eaze by john frieda.

or u could permanently straighten ur hair 4 about $300.

also, since u straighten it often, that causes frizziness 2.

cut down on the straightening and it will eventually get better.

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Go to your hairdresser and they can put a straightening pack on it so it will straighten it permently

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

NO! Cutting it isn't the only solution. Sunsilk works great for me! They have leave in conditioner along with shampoo/conditioner. Use the green Sunsilk products. That is mainly for frizz. I put in the pink, blue, AND green leave in conditioner but that is my only choice!

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

you could be over doing the treatment leaving a build up in you hair you can buy a good cleansing shampoo you can also get you hair chemically straitened i have just recently chemical straitened a girls hair and hers was very curly and frizzy she now can go out without straightening her hair

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

hot oil treatments

Frizzease.

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Don't cut it!!!! I did that to my hair (similar to yours but mine is massively curly) and it only make it worse. I use as much moisturizing products as I can and I have to switch them up a lot. I use: Pantene Curl Defining conditioner (helps to cure fly-aways), herbal essences hello hydration, sunsilk moisturizing conditioner/shampoo/leave in treatment (pink), sunsilk anti frizz (green), sunsilk anti poof (blue), dove intense moisture, and catwalk and most recently loreal vive pro smooth intense. You have to switch it up because using the same product over and over strips your hair of natural oils/nutrients and will build up ones that come along with the product. I really like the leave in products of sunsilk. They are really great for the summer. Another good one is Herbal essences none of your frizzness (orange bottle) products. I straightened my hair from when I was age 12 to age 18 and it just made the problem so much worse. I needed to just let all of that grow out and my natural hair come through. And yes, using a flat iron all the time might dry out your hair, if you choose to do that make sure you don't use the highest heat because that does even more damage. Try using the new sunsilk thermacare products. If you want to permanently straighten it, you will need at least $300 and that hair might never take any curl or wave again.

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

k i used to have really curly hair so i used 3 chemical relaxers and i used to have the same problem as you but this is wat i do: eat well, trim my hair, shampoo every 2 days (it dries out hair) and condition well.

what you can do is instead of trying to make ur hair even more straight by straightening it (lots of damage) you can inhance your hair in the style it is.

a diffuser if u dont want to let it airdry... it doesnt damage hair and if u get the right one it has an ionizer that is specifically made to minimize frizz a lot.

mousse (get herbal essences)

spray-in gel

after ur shower in the morning heres what to do:

put mousse in ur hair right after shower when hair is damp. u can either let it air dry or use a diffuser(diffuser is healthier for hair) if u use a diffuser u can style it and finish off with the spray-in gel. if u let it airsry u can kinda scrunch and style it as it drys. u can finish getting ready while it drys or whatever and just use the spray in gel on individual parts when u think its right. the spray-in gel is amazing cuz it holds hair without crunchiness.

hope this helps :)

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

mix coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, honey, olive oil, after cutting 1 1/2 inch or 2 inches. leave this mixer conditioning for a whole day or all night. try it 3 times a week.. where a shower cap!!!! ;)

and your hair is gonna grow frizz free and like weeds!!!!!

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Sunsilk De-Frizz

John Frieda Frizz Ease

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

Dont Cut It Short Because That Will Make It MUCH MUCH Worse!!

I Used To Have Frizzy Hair But I Realised My Hair Was Very Dry So I Used Moisturing Conditioners Which Really Helped (Vo5)

Also Before You Straighten Your Hair, Use TRESemme Heat Defence Spray It Helps It Not To Become So Dry.

Hope This Helps x x

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

use half baby oil half shampoo. then condition with a moisturising conditioner sounds strange but it works!!

Coarse, frizzy hair. Please help?

hiya,

had this problem is your doing the rite thing giving your hair a good condition, i defo recommend ghd straighteners, it is important that you section your hair to seperate the layers or it all kicks out, finish it off with a good sold the serum to hold the style

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and

He said instead of like regular dandruff that flakes off, my scalp is oily and that the sebaceous glands are clogged with the dandruff and it is making each new hair grow in thinner and thinner and not allowing my hair to grow very long. I'm very disheartened. I've been very depressed about this hair to the point of avoiding wind activities and some public activities. I used to have long naturally curly fine thin hair but it was thick enough to look thick and pretty. Now I look like I've been through chemo, but I haven't. I had some chemical damage done last year, but the trichologist said that this is not due to that and would have happened anyway. He gave me 4 treatments while I was there as I live 4 hours from where he is, and he put me on an at-home daily scalp cleansing regimen with nightly treatments as well. I used his cleansing regimen yesterday for the first time and my hair shed BAD, but it was a tad bit more manageable. I woke this a.m. to VERY thin sides to the poin

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

I have never been to a trichologist but I have seen my regular doctor and I was having the same problem. My doctor told me it was psorasis but I didn't believe her. In addition to thinning hair and losing it I was getting scabs and dryness all throughout my head and it was even visible along my whole hairline down to my forehead. I have lost a lot of my hairline becuase I would pick at it.

I was given T-Gel and used it but it didn't work that much, dried my hair out a lot. I went to my hairstylist and she gave me a scalp treatment that hurt so bad but when I came away the scalp flakes and my hairline looked a lot better. I would recommened that you go to Sallys and buy Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Conditioner. (Any beauty store, the generic will also work). Ask the store people for a comb that has teeth that you can hold on to and just massage your scalp with. It should cost about a dollar. Don't use shampoo anymore and only condition your hair. Do NOT wash or condition your scalp...ONLY your hair. Make sure you only run water through your scalp and massage your scalp in the shower. I think that you should see results. I have! Find a good stylist also.

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

then how come your avatar's hair has sooo much volume?

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

look at your avatar! it might help...

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

Try a wig...I know it sounds stupid, but there are some really pretty ones, at least until your hair is under control....and remember, you are beautiful...and getting a good wig will help you feel that way!! Good Luck

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

I know it might seem really bad right now, but think of it in the a brighter light. Once it's under control, you can have your beautiful, thick hair back. Sometimes you gotta' go through a bit of pain to get to somewhere great.

I'd stick to it. :)

In the end, it'll all be worth it. In the meantime, you could invest in a wig. Yeah, it sounds old fashioned, but there are some really natural looking one's out there that'll look great.

Don't worry. No amount of hair chemicals is going to turn you into anything else. You are a woman, and you're a human. You'll come out fine. Just try to look into the future, and not to be so glum. Maybe organise a get together with friends, or a picnic or something, to brighten your mood? They'll be there to support you too ^_^

Good luck! I hope all goes well for you.

I went to a trichologist yesterday because my hair has been getting thinner and thinner each day and hard to d

have you been on any medication about the time this occured? I would see you GP and ask for a referral. Don't be frightened to massage you scalp whilst in shower as this will stimulate circulation wihih in turn brings more oxgenated blood to the area. Use a mild shampoo. Try contacting Lucinda Ellery at her clinic/salon in london for advice, she specialises in allopecia and is very sympathetic.http://www.lucindaellery.com/

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

My daughter has really really long hair, and I noticed this morning while I was brushing it that it is slowly getting split ends, in the middle of her head. I do not want to cut it, it really is beautiful. Is there some form of treatment you can suggest for me to use on her hair? Thanks!

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

Wow talk about synchronicity :-) I just was noticing the same thing about my 4 year old daughter's beatuiful long hair so last night, after her bath, I put a dab of Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave-in conditioner on her wet hair. Amazingly, I brushed it out this morning and there were no split ends!

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

sorry, keep trimming it. that's what keeps it healthy.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

maybe just trim it very little?

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

i had the same problem but nothing worked for me they have products that you could try in the shampoo and conditioner aisle but nothing really works, shes going to have to cut it sorry

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

Start using a very high quality hair conditioner and having it cut just 1/4 of an inch or so every few months.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

Just get a trim, it wont hurt. And hair grows faster in the summer anyways!

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

There is no way..you have to cut or trim them...inless....u can alwasy glue them..JKlol

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

You can put leav-in conditioner on the ends to condition them, but I am affraid that without cutting them you can't really get rid of them.

I would say go to a good hair salon and ask them for the conditioner they will have better things than reagular pharmacy

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

Its impossible. Ive had long hair most of my life and split ends are inevitable. Some will twist the hair and the split ends will pop out then you can cut them, but its just putting a band aid on the problem.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

First off it's her hair and if she wants to cut it then let her. Keep trimming the ends every 2-3 months. Deep condition her hair once a week. Don't use hairbands that have a metal thing in them or rubber bands.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

deep condition and besides trimming that u can do

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

I've noticed that my hair splits in the middle of my head too. I have layered hair, like Jennifer Aniston's old "Friend's" cut.. my beautician said to regularly trim the ends of my hair but for split ends in the middle of my head to use a Frizz Eaze type product. There isn't anything that can be done about those hairs, other than to smooth them down and eventually they will fall out.

I use Garnier Fruictis products, they work beautifully with my hair.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off.

You can't repair the hair once it has split but you can temporarily diguise the split by using serums and protectant sprays. The hair will be temporarily fixed but you can't undo what is done. In time the split will work it's way further down the shaft of the hair which means cutting even more of the hair off to remove the damaged hair.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

just trim the split ends. you have to trim it every once in a while to keep it healthy

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

If there was I would of hoped I would of known about it but to my knowledge there isn't. Split ends can be treated by just having a trim, I have my hair cut every 6-8 weeks and never have more than 1/2" - 1" cut off because that it all that's required to get rid of split ends. However if you do the opposite and choose to leave the hair and not get it trimmed then it will just get worse until more length will have to be removed to fix it.

I used to be the same in terms of getting my hair cut but when I have it done now I can't tell any length is missing and it just looks better.

Hope this helps, Matty.

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

as far as i know, there is no way to get rid of split ends without cutting them. split ends are parts on your hair where the hair has become so brittle that it has broken and has/will die. if you really don't want to cut it, then there are shampoos and conditioners that you can use to help strengthen it. you need a really good moisturiser that isn't too thick. i would also suggest that you only wash her hair every other day, because over washing can dry hair out. you might also want to use a leave in conditioner in her hair every week or so over night too. i recommend redken products. they've done amazing things with my hair. hope this helps!

How do you get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

There really isn't a way to. You can prevent them so they don't show up for a longer amount of time. Make sure when you put conditioner in her hair make sure its getting to the ends. You can also put a leave- in conditioner of hair serum to protect the ends more and make them stronger. If she straightens/blow drys/or uses a curling iron on it tell to stop or not use it as much because that will dry it out and make it weaker. Also try not to brush it as often.

Would coloring my hair dark help with the frying?

I have been coloring my hair very light blonde for a few months professionally, but my ends keep frying after about two weeks and it's disgusting. I have short hair so I have to straighten it everyday or it looks hidious. Would dying it a shade of brown make it any healthy or keep it from frying? My stylist says it's b/c she has to leave the color on so long for my hair to take the blonde....I use a deep conditioning treatment daily, but it starting to look awful.

Would coloring my hair dark help with the frying?

Yes it will help. I used to dye my hair blonde. I did it for 5 years and my hair looked and felt like hay. Then one day I decided to go back to brown and it instantly felt smoother. People always compliment my hair now telling me how pretty and shiny it is!

Would coloring my hair dark help with the frying?

stop coloring. Ya, if you dye it dark it hides the disgusting frying, all in all use natural hair dyes, most preferabbly henna.

Would coloring my hair dark help with the frying?

It totally will. My freind had brown hair and her hair looked really fried. Then she dyed it black and it looked really healthy again. You should try dying it black or dark brown .

Would coloring my hair dark help with the frying?

Going dark will definitely help. The frying comes from the bleach when lightening the hair. It usually means the hairstylist left it in your hair too long! Which causes your hair to get fried! The fried parts won't go away by dying them dark unfortunately. You will have to trim them off to get rid of them.

But by going darker, it will give your hair a rest from the bleach and gradually it will become healthier. But you need to get that done professionally. I say that because I am assuming you have pretty blond hair. In that case, if your hair is really bleached out, it won't take to the color your dying it fully and might turn it green. So be careful!

Good luck!!!!

Who has gotten laser hair removal?

It takes some sessions before you really notice a big difference. After a few you will notice the hair isn't as close together and grows allot more slowly. Hair in some areas will stop growing sooner then hair in other areas. Be sure not to get mush sun exposure in the treated areas for about a week after, since it makes skin for sensitive to the sun.

Hair color question for virgin hair?

Coloring dark hair to light?

How likely is it that I閳ユ獟l need more than 1 color treatment to get it to a shade of dark blond.?

My hair is dark, dark brown--almost black (thick %26amp; resistant). I閳ユ獓 like to get my hair to a dark blonde or possibly a very, very, very light brown--at it's darkest.

Will I have to dye my hair blond and then re-dye with blond again, resulting in lighter shades of brown, until it finally lightens to blond? I ask because that閳ユ獨 what happened last time I dyed my hair. But that was about 12 years ago, so I'm hoping to find ***wishful thinking*** that color technology has improved a bit. Or, as they seem to often say "revolutionized".

I'm trying to figure out which color I'll need. If I go with a super light blond, trying to get--at least--a light brown...Imagine my surprise if it ACTUALLY colors my hair the color on the box the first time I use it.Ooops! omg! :-o

How many colorings can our hair withstand w/out 2 much damage?(Not incl. new growth roots)

Hair color question for virgin hair?

you'd have to strip or bleach the dark color out.

i suggest going to a professional, and i'm not talking about super cuts haha. :]

Hair color question for virgin hair?

well if your wanting to go really blonde i would get it done by a professional its a messy job coz u mite have to bleach it then dye it the shade of blonde u want...coz if u dye ur dark hair blonde it mite jus turn a ginger colour ...

hope that helps xx

Hair color question for virgin hair?

Hope this link helps.More information at http://moreaboutcolor.blogspot.com/

Hair color question for virgin hair?

Yeah, you can bleach your hair. Some stores sell bleaching kits. It comes with 2 bottles occasionally. One, you apply on to a strand of hair, and leave it there for 15 minutes. Then you can use the conditioner it comes with to make it clean, and to take out the split ends. It also helps it from damaging your hair. Note, it can damage your hair severely.

Hair color question for virgin hair?

Pick a colour take it to your hairdresser and get them to do it, trust me I've seen to many stuff ups in my time of hairdressing. You'll end up spending more money doing it yourself because you'll end up in the salon getting it fixed. Remember getting it lighter you will have to get the regrowth done every 4 to 6 weeks if your natural hair colour is nearly black the roots will stand out really dark against a dark blonde. Try going one or two shades lighter then getting some really fine caramel blonde foils on top to break up the one colour it will look great!! that will give you the affect of being lighter. But your roots won't stand out as bad. Good Luck!!!

Hair color question for virgin hair?

First, do not buy any color or lightener (what many call bleach) from Wal-Mart or the like. Go to a pro or Sally Beauty Supply. The people who work at Sally are trained to help you with that exact question. If your hair is more than 4 shades darker than what you want to be, then you will need a lightener.

Tint (color) doesn't lift tint!! This is the rule of all hair color, but not true of lighteners. Get a lightener, then find a color you like and go with that. How it turns out after that is dependent upon your hair's condition. Gray hair affects the process. Underlying pigment is another factor. Most people will end up golden. Ash (blue, green, violet) corrects this. Neutral is almost always the safest way to go.

Sally Beauty Supply also has many great conditioning treatments that can help your color and protect from damage and repair it.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

I was born and raised with very straight and shiny hair, very healthy. But I think I messed up my hair somehow, maybe I trusted the wrong people to dye my hair.My hair looks very dry now,and I've tried so many shampoos that are for dry damaged hair, but nothing seems to work, maybe I need a treatment,a natural one or something,or maybe is the way I manage my hair. Please give some tips of what to use for my hair and how to manage it properly.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

Your hair needs a rest from too much attention.

My opinion is that you should get it shortened up a bit.(to get the driest ends off.) Use a gentle shampoo and a very-good quality moisturizing, conditioner. Then for a month or so wash your hair only every other day, or every 3rd day if you can go that long. Avoid all electrical hair appliances. No hair dryers. No curling irons or curlers. Nothing. Also avoid any hair styling products that contain alcohol or urea--both are extremely drying on hair. Also avoid sprays with propellents (aerosols).

Finally, (this sounds icky--) as your scalp gets feeling oily, massage your head with the pads of your fingers (not fingernails), distributing the natural oils down the shaft of hair. (recommend doing this in private!)

We (society) prefer to shampoo away this natural oil and then try to put it back with (better smelling) conditioners. Sometimes we just have to admit, nature knows best!

good luck!

What things could I do for my dry hair?

use olive oil. and just different greases to make it healthy again dont put anymore chemiceals in it and when it gets healty again get it styled

What things could I do for my dry hair?

Do a hot oil treatment every other day...Leave in covered with towel about 20 minutes.

Also try some Pantene leave in condtioner...

Do not blow dry...try to let dry on own.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

shave yourself bald

What things could I do for my dry hair?

Try a hydrating mask once a week Nioxin makes a great one!

http://nioxin.com/index.cfm?objectId=351...

Also if you can try not to blow dry or use a diffuser. Also when you get out of the shower don't rub your hair with the towel to dry it just pat it lightly.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

what you need to do is use olive oil rub a little bit through ur hair pretty regularly- it give back shine and moisture to ur hair.

also if you can dont dye ur hair very frequently or ever. the less attention ur hair gets the healthier it is. stop blow drying it (if u do) just towel dry it and smooth it with a comb. dont straigten it either

good luck

What things could I do for my dry hair?

use mustard oil at the roots of hair. use your finger tips for massaging the scalp AND eat raw salads/fruits(rich in fibre cotent). drink a lot of water(4-6 glass) in the morning.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

First of all buy some Olive Oil and measure out about 3 tablespoons into a small glass container. Dampen your hair and work the olive oil into your hair.Leave it in your hair ,the longer the better and then shampoo and condition ur hair like you normally do,also I used Cholesterol conditioner,u get it in the black section of hir products at most stores..I know this because I had the same problem from to much coloring done to my hair in a short period of time.

What things could I do for my dry hair?

I have long straight hair too and I don't know if this will help but berfore you go to bed put baby oil in your hair for a few minutes and then wash it off with a good shampoo and conditioner after that towel try so its damp then braid it. Also a trim at the tips will help too. Good Luck!!

What things could I do for my dry hair?

Try the tips in the source and it should be able to help your hair regain health!

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

I take care of my hair it is strong and wavy . ihave it cut every 6 wks rarely brush or dry it. my brush is ok it has all its bobbles. my hair is coloured but minimally , a few slices two or three times a year.my hair has always been dry but it only started breaking after i used a strengthening conditioning treatment . i need help . is it better to wear your hair up or down to prevent more damage? i really dont want to have all my hair cut off -its only just past shoulder length .

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

Have it down its less damage and if the conditioner is giving you trouble then try a new one.

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

down does less damage as hair bands can brake hair but if you are inclined to brush and re-fix hair then up would be better use thick bands and not too tight.

wind and sun can dry out hair too i use a UV spry for hair it gets less dry-ed out and less inclined to bleach.

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

Never use elastic band to tie it back. Invest in good quality hair accessories. Have a salon treatment every 6-8 weeks.

Good Luck

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

don't use elastic on your hair when you tie it up and don't have it too tight use combs or grips, don't use the bobble brush use one without +leave in conditioners are great

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

clip your end

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

Go see a professional hairstylist! First, they can TRIM your ends off then they can give a recommendation to use for shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. Ask the stylist about what kind of brush to use on your hair too. GOOD LUCK!

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

put yoghurt on your hair like half an hour before you wash it, it'll work!

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

shave

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

get a salon deep condition treatment also buy one for at home and use at least once a week. continue to get hair trimmed. also i could be your diet causing so eat loks more protein. use minimal heat on your hair from dryers etc and protect it from the sun. be as gentle as possible with it. i know you said you didnt want to but i think your best option is to get it cut shorter than you would maybe like but i always think short healthy hair looks a million times better than longer unhealthy hair. good luck with it though

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

I have the same prob and am dead against cutting my hair :'( Your hair is probably breaking because of the lack of protein.I use Karatase shampoo, the green one for damaged hair.you can buy it online or from a good salon.I also use Redkin Protein Spray and after serum to replace protein in my hair.My hair has been much softer since!Give it a try.It is expensive but if u don't wanna snip ur hair it is worth a go!Good luck!x

My hair is split but halfway up not at the ends i dont know what to do!?

If i was you i would get Tigi catwalk oatmeal and honey shampoo and conditioner (it will work wonders), also don't put your hair up wet and when you blow wave it blast it with cold once you are finished. Try not to use hairbands with metal bits or those snag bands.

What can I do about my hair problem?

I use a hair straightener but only wash my hair and use it every OTHER day. I have noticed things that look like little white joints about 1-2 inches from the bottom of my hair. If I just run my fingers down a strand, they break off at that point and become split ends. How can I manage these? Currently, I wash my hair with vive (loreal) shampoo and use a conditioner called "brilliant brunette". I don't protect it before drying (with ionizing dryer) or straightening, but I don't know what a goo dproduct is.

I want to stop my hair from breaking off bc Im trying to grow it. Should I do oil treatments? What do you recommend? I don't have much $$.

What can I do about my hair problem?

The easiest thing to do is to stop straightening your hair.

Use a breakage prevention shampoo and conditioner, like dove, garnier fructis, sunsilk, etc. And TRIM YOUR HAIR! every month...just take like an inch or lesss off.

What can I do about my hair problem?

The best thing is to stop straightening it so much try doing it once a weak. Also try to leave in your condition longer when you wash or you can even do some treatments with al home products. Go to GLAMOUR.com they have plenty of tips.

What can I do about my hair problem?

I recommend cutting your hair a little above the joints. If this is too short I'm sorry I'm not very good at mesurements!

What can I do about my hair problem?

If you want to continue to straighten your hair, you need a thermal protector. There are lots of good ones out there, the choice is yours depending on how much you want to spend. But you need to apply a thermal protector before you use the straightener. Those white ends are your split ends being burnt.

And even though your letting it grow don't forget to get regular trims. There is no point in growing out unhealthy hair!

What can I do about my hair problem?

If you are getting split ends you should get a trim, even if you are trying to grow your hair out, you dont want straggly hair I am sure.

V05 has a good hot oil treatment. You could try that. Also get a good leave in conditioner.

Protection products for a flat iron arent cheap.

Good Luck.

What can I do about my hair problem?

You NEED to use heat defence because you are not protecting your hair and it dameges it!

i use Tresemme heat defence smooth.....it is brilliant and i never had any damage for my hair yet!!

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

I had naturally dark brown hair but have double processed it at home myself for three years. The color is sandy blonde with lighter highlights, beautiful color something no one else has and very natural looking...my only problem is thery're a little fried. Besides getting deep conditioning treatments which I am going to start doing, what can I do to make them healthy and shiny. Would it help to mention my hair is oily type.

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

you can get special moisterizing shampoo %26amp; conditioners for chemically treated hair they arnt as harsh on your hair as normal shampoos%26amp; conditioners.

or use a deep conditioning mask u can get from any pharmacy like boots superdrug or whever u just leave them on for like half hour for an extra treat for thirsty damaged hair.

also dont brush your hair when its wet or it will break off.

and use hair protecting spray when straighning your hair ect..hope i helped :)

xx

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

my hairdressor recommended this 4 me

put a half bottle of conditioner in it put a towel in a microwave for 3 minutes and wrap ur hair in it leave it in for an hour wash it out in cold water to leave a shine

and just a note to go16 it will not starts a fire if u put a dry towel in the microwave for 3 mins. i did it just yesterday and it is the best and cheapest way 2 get healthy hair!

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

I would stop exposing your hair to heat and let it air dry.

It really makes a difference.

You should also ask your hair stylist.

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

good brand shampoos like the ones that cost more than $4 bucks dont go for the cheap ones they dont help your they just take out SOME of the products in your hair. but the deep treatments will work wonders and help your hair a lot

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

Just a note to add to the first answer:

When you put the towel in the microwave make sure it's wet!!! Otherwise you will have a fire on your hands. No fun!

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

washing it more often will help. i wash mine two times, back to back.

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

what you can do to get your hair shinier is this...mash up an avocodo and put it in your hair when you shower next..its possible that it will work depending on your hair type

HAIR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!I need help please...?

you should use pantene pro-v or pantene restoratives....

i think that is a nice product to use for hair that wants to be healthy,I've been using that shampoo since I was a baby!

Hope this helps

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

I am Latina/White/Asian/Black/Native American

First off, I think it would be good if I told you my hair care regime so you can get a feel of what I do now...

-multivitamin

-8-10 cups of water daily

-exercise 3-5x weekly

-pretty healthy diet

-massage scalp daily

-shampoo weekly

-condition daily

-deep conditioner weekly

-protein treatment 2x a month

Okay, second of all is my hair type. I have tight, frizzy, almost afro curls in around the crown of my hair and in the underneath layers. The rest of my hair is in medium-tight curls and waves. It is pretty soft, and is shiny, too.

I just want to know how I can grow my hair faster (if you're just going to post, "it's impossible to grow hair faster or "hair grows about 1/2 inch a month" don't post at all).

I've heard camellia oil works really well, and have also heard about kelp tablets and HairTopia vitamins, but what really works?

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

i am only going to say this as a suggestion i am also mixed and my sister has the same hair type it is more of a suggestion to grow stronger hair so that your hair shaft doesnt get weak and your hair doesnt break off faster while your growing it. For starters dont use shampoos and conditioners that you can find in a regular drug store...period. Buy from makers like paul mitchell, nexxus....etc. the reason for this is the shampoos and cond. from the drug store have fillers in them like clay or mud which can coat the hairshaft and leave them thick and heavy can cause the hair to break off. also use a shampoo with tea tree oil in it every once in a while will strip off extra dht and will help hair to grow better (not necessarily faster) but when you do use the shampoo make sure you use a really good conditioner because the shampoo strips everything off. make sure you get your ends clipped every six weeks i know it seems like your going backwards but it helps. have you ever had a friend who cut all their hair off and it seemed like only yesterday because all their hair has grown back?? its because they were starting with healthy strands...keep those split ends down and....i cant stress enough have a great cond. to tell you the truth as long as you have a great cond. all of the other things (like hot oils, deep cond.) you can do as maint. once a month. hope this helps

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

keep trimming it. JUST A LITTLE TRIM!!! trimming it helps it grow out longer and keeps it looking healthy.

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

Personally, I massage coconut oil onto my hair before I wash it. Then I shampoo and condition it. Use this method for a prolonged period of time and you'll see good results. Its very healthy for your hair!.. well, it is for mine because I have long, black, and silky hair. Hope I helped.

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

Your hair is curly, maybe you just dont notice the growth. Ive heard that HairTopia vitiamins work.

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

Yes it is possible. You can try various pills for this purpose along with fish oil, kelp, or vitamin B tablets. I've tried HairTopia and it does work very well. Another option is to straighten your hair because hair is longer when straight. Remember that anything you have to rub on to your hair will not work.

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

i'm not sure what does work, but i tried dr. miracles and it made my scalp tingle, but not on the first try.

I don't think it did anything.

good luck, though...

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

wow! you're so mixed (great thing :) )and pretty (based on your pic)! i think you seem to take very great care of your hair already with the massages and cleaning and conditioning. i personally think that's the best way to keep your hair growing and going. you might want to try Vitamin E and Biotin pills.

Growing Out Mixed Hair?

well sounds like you have a good diet and all that other good stuff that is suppose to work on your hair i have heard that prenatal (vitamins when your pregnant) really works good luck

Conditioning bleached hair?

Anyways so school picture day is next friday, and I wanna bleach my hair a do it light blue for picture day and because iv'e wanted blue hair for a while. sAnyways my hair is black with some brown blonde spots in it. it's in reaaaaaaaaally good condition. Anyways I really need my hair to stay in good condition so I was wondering after I bleach my hair what to put in it to make it stay nice and healthy besides a deep conditiong treatment?

Iv'e tried olive oil, that just cleans my hair. Eggs and mayonaise just makes it softer..but thats about it so yeah =/

Conditioning bleached hair?

you can usually get special conditioners just about anywhere for bleached or colored hair. once u get it dyed, just make sure it stays moisturized and use a conditioner that states that it is specifically for color treated hair.

Conditioning bleached hair?

I asked my friend the same she says Deep conditioning is the best and pretty much the only way to go but try Redkin its for color treated hair

Conditioning bleached hair?

There is no way that your hair is going to be healthy after you bleach it and put blue on it BUT you can try a product from Sallys Beauty Supply called Ineral [Deep Conditioner] It is a 7 day treatment.

Conditioning bleached hair?

I bleached my hair and I used the same thing you did..you can do a hot oil treatment to help the scalp too..good luck with the blue hair!! Sounds awesome.. Im getting pink extentions in from Audrey Kitching soon =)

Conditioning bleached hair?

hot oil treatment.. V05 has one.. good luck going from black to bleached though.. that will be tough!!!!

Conditioning bleached hair?

Heres what I do:

I apply a hair masque for about 30 minutes. Beyond The Zone Last Call Hair Masque is amazing.

Then, I use a shampoo/conditioner with a lot of vitamins to help rebuild the cuticle. Bed Head TIGI-Self Absorbed shampoo/conditioner is great.

Rinse your hair with COLD water. It seals the cuticle and leaves hair healthy.

When using conditioner, don't rinse it all out. Rinse your scalp fairly well, but leave a bit of conditioner in the rest of your hair. It should feel smooth but not sticky. TIGI products are great for this, because you don't feel extra build up once your hair is dry. This makes hair baby soft and extremely managable.

When your hair is dry or damp, spray some leave in conditioner on the ends to prevent breakage. Infusium 23 has a nice leave in conditioner that works very well.

Also once your hair is bleached, I would avoid blow drying hair on a high heat setting, and using straighteners (unless they're ionic, those protect your hair against heat damage). It's always best to air dry your hair, or just blow dry the roots.

Conditioning bleached hair?

bleached hair is dead, dry lifeless hair and there is no way to keep it healthy because the bleaching process takes everything out of the hair, not only color. To keep it from breaking or falling out you have to use a lot of conditioner everytime you wash.

Conditioning bleached hair?

"bleached hair is dead, dry lifeless hair and there is no way to keep it healthy because the bleaching process takes everything out of the hair, not only color. To keep it from breaking or falling out you have to use a lot of conditioner everytime you wash."

That is the funniest thing I have heard all day. You should actually learn something about hair and dye before posting, idiot.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

I am wanting to Lighten my hair color for the first time but am wondering what on the boxes is the least amount of number to washout is. I know they have a 24hour color treatment. But is there one for a 5 day hair color? If so what Brand? Because I do not want one that is permanent. I have brown hair and would like to light it up. Thank you.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

Loving care lasts about a week. Get something that doesn't say permanent or semi permanent. It will say right on the box.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

Your welcome. Report It

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

im sure there is.

.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

A temporary color won't lighten your hair, but if you want to change the color for less than a week, try a rinse. Clairol makes a gel rinse called Glints, which comes in some way cool shades and lasts about 6 shampoos.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

Colorwashes don't lighten the hair.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

You cannot lighten your hair with a wash out color. you have to use bleach, wich is permanent, to remove color. The only option for you, without having to bleach) is a 24 hour color. All those do is coat your hair. I have never used one but it seems to me the only way it could work is if it is thick and crunchy. Like a paint.

Any way. my point is that you cannot wash out a lighter color because you have to remove the color to make it lighter. To get it back to a dark color you either have to let it grow out, cut it off, or dye it again.

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

you know what im not really sure but ask your hair stylest maybe he/she can help you.

hope it helps!

Is there a 5 day hair color wash?

unfortunately you cant go lighter using a rinse, or semi permanent, they will put highlights in your hair but wont lighten it up unless your willing to use something with a peroxide and or an ammonia base (which are then permanent hair colours)... rinses are approximately 8-9 washes, and semi permanent are around 20 washes. hope this helps. good luck.

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

i have extremley frizzy/curly hair. (curly if i don't comb it and frizzy if i do). I was hoping someone could tell me the best ways to get smooth straight hair. I have a straightner and some heat activating treatment but i was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips.

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

get a corioliss hair straightener (around $100-$200) because they work really good, then get some frederic fekkai straight away straightening balm ($16.50) to keep the frizzy areas down. hope i helped.

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

if you just want straight hair for a day then use a straightener or you could get a straight perm and it would last for a couple months and usaully cost at least $200

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

Put some hand lotion on your hands and wipe the excess on your hair (Not too much though other wise it will become greasy) Try some defrizzing serums as well. Try specialty hair stores like the beauty Supply outlet rather then drug stores and what not. They have better products (sometimes) and the people working there can help a lot to :)

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

I have the exact same problem. It drives me insane. This might sound crazy but one time I used an iron. Just make sure you use a bunch of heat protectant. If you run a brush through it while you trail the iron directly behind it, it's amazing. I could never get the ends right, but the iron straightened them PERFECTLY. and yes, i do mean a clothes iron, just put it on a low setting a don't leave it it one place. A quick stroke does the job if you use the brush directly in front. Just don't do this very often.

Can you tell me the best way to straighten my hair?

theres aussie gel that you can apply to damp hair that helps with frizz

the only frizz i have in my hair is the tiny bit of damage due to straightening it, but it helps for me. other wise dont straighten it too much, itll just damage it and make it frizzier. try turning the heat level on the straightener down, or not holding the straightener to your hair for more than a second. and also, try curley hair-do's for your hair so your not always straightening it. i wish my hair was curley so i could do somthing other than keeping it straight.

Hair color question 4 virgin hair?

Hair color question 4 virgin hair?

Definitely get it professionally done. The products professionals use are totally different from what you get in the store, and they can mix the peroxide and other ingredients especially to go with your type of hair.

Also, if they mess up and it turns out the wrong color, they will fix it for free. If you are going for one color, your roots will grow out looking worse.

You might try starting with highlights, then keep adding more every month or so, that way you can go lighter and lighter, and not have the growing out so obvious..

Hair color question 4 virgin hair?

I HAVE SUPER DARK BROWN HAIR AND I TRIED BLONDE. IT TURNED OUT ORANGE. HAVE A PRO DO IT, TRUST ME. AFTER THAT JUST DO IT YOURSELF BY PICKING UP BLEACH KITS AT SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY OR SOMETHING. THATS WHAT I DO

My hair is thinning out?

I'm worried. My hair is the thinnest it has ever been. I do lose a little hair (a few strands) everytime I shampoo/condition my hair, but lately I noticed how thin it really is. It has thinned out over the years, and I'm not sure if it's due to coloring treatments or age (I'm 23). I'm worried that by this time next year, I will have almost nothing left. When I do style my hair, it looks a lot thicker than it is. I was thinking about hair extentions..not to add to the length, but to add to the width. Are there any products out there to help my hair grow thicker? I'm taking prenatal vitamens because I was told they'd make my hair grow stronger (due to the iron). Thanks!

My hair is thinning out?

Blow drying, treating your hair with color and other things damage your hair. Your hair might be more sensitive than other peoples.

When washing your hair try to be gentle. It is normal to lose hair though.

Don't style your hair or do things to it that are unnatural.

There are shampoos that strenghtens your hair. check up on that at the store! I believe Pantene Pro-V has it. Thats the shampoo I use. Goodluck

My hair is thinning out?

there are volumizing creams and things, but I dont think this would help for your problem. I would suggest to go see a hair stylist or even a doctor about it. They might know what to do.

My hair is thinning out?

I have had thinning hair for years. I was using rogaine everyday (twice a day) and it didn't work. I went to a dermatologist and she sent me for lab work to rule out various things (i.e. thyroid disease). After that she was able to treat it. Good Luck!!!

My hair is thinning out?

I have a few friends who have same probs, research on fruits and veggies that you can eat to help, and ask a professional hairdress what products to use, I know there are scalp treatments, you could also save up for the future to have surgery. try not to wash and blowdry to often. Keep the vitamins up!

My hair is thinning out?

You might be blow drying it/coloring or flat ironing it too much. Limit doing that to maybe once a week. And you might be washing it too much so wash it every other day or so. Try getting a damaged hair shampoo too.

My hair is thinning out?

Is your hair breaking off? Can you see a lot of short hairs? Or, is it falling out at the root, like where you can see more of your scalp than before? If you think it's breaking off, it could be from styling damage. If it's truly thinning, you might need to check with your doctor to rule out thyroid disease, stress, hormone imbalance, etc.. You're very young to experience genetically thinning hairloss, but usually this type of hairloss is concentrated on the top and crown areas ( not really affecting the back). After you've ruled out any medical issue, you can try several things: Rogaine, thickening shampoos and styling aids, a laser comb (can make hair look thicker after several weeks of use). Extensions might not work unless your thinning hair is mostly in the back. Coloring your hair or styling it won't make it fall out unless you're going to extremes. It's probably safe to keep doing these as long as you're taking care of your hair. Stick with the vitamins, and make an appt. with your doctor soon!

My hair is thinning out?

Get your thyroid checked. This same thing happen to meat age 21 and I found out my thyroid was to blame. I am now 27 and my hair is the thickist its ever been thank to the meds. Just a suggestion.

My hair is thinning out?

Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of

hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Will this damage my hair?

i have big, poofy hair, and after a bad haircut, i cant be seen in public without straightening my hair (i now have bangs that only work with straight hair :D)

i only straighten my hair once a week, i use a heat protecting treatment when i straighten it, and i deep condition it once a week, but i've been doing this for about 2.5 /3 years. i've noticed my hair is getting kind of fried.

i'm going to get it trimmed so the unhealthy/poofy ends are off of it.

i love the way it looks when its straightened! but i dont want to damage my hair more!

oh and i have a Solia Ceramic Ionic straightening iron- so its not one of those cheap metal ones.

i love my hair straight....but i'm worried about damaging it....any tips?! thanks a lot!

Will this damage my hair?

My best suggestion is after you get any dead end cut off of it and it's completely healthy... try relaxing it.... or even better... they have a service called The Japanese hair straightening method... where they run a flat iron over your hair and it just stays straight permanently.. it takes longer than relaxing, but it's less harsher on your hair. :)

閳?br>

I've listed a website below if you have any

more questions on this method.

Will this damage my hair?

It sounds like you might want to check into a permanent straighting from a beauty shop. I have known people who loved it!

Will this damage my hair?

All irons whether they are curling irons or flat irons damage hair. If you are in love with your hair straight, then you should go to the salon and discuss the benefit of having it professionally straightened. Especially if you straighten it every day. Not only will it look better all of the time, but it will also save you on time.

Will this damage my hair?

I have naturally curly hair and I flat iron it all the time. It does damage you hair some, but you have to make sure that you deep condition your hair, and treat it right. Also, please dont do a chemically straighten your hair. That damages it more. Also, if your hair is naturally poofy, you will still need to straighten it after the chemicals. Its not "wash and go". Work is still required.

Will this damage my hair?

Try a relaxer. If your flat iron has a heat setting turn it down at least 3 knotches. I think you should ask your hair stylist about a permanent straightning treatment it could really help you out.
