Can hair be successfully implanted into the eyebrow region to fill in or replace lost eyebrow hair?

Can real or artificial air be successfully implanted to fill in for weak or missing eyebrow hair? I am curious as eyebrow hair is very important to facial symmetry for both men and women.

If this can be done, is this a rather costly procedure that many practictioners do or want to do?

Has this been done for years, or is this a fairly recent developmental treatment for thin or non existant eyebrow hair?

Thank you.

Eyebrow hair implantations ,using natural hair , are as old as CosmeticSurgery;nothing new to it. It is moderately expensive and is a good relief for those who lost eyebrow hair due to alopecia or accidents etc. The results are permanent and in a few lucky cases, natural regrowth of hair also gets stimulated after the transplantation on account of the stretching and stimulation done to prepare the brows for the surgery.
