it often look as if I have a bald spot on the top of my head unless i brush it just right. It is bone straight. I do not use a relaxer or any other chemical treatment. what can I do to try and get thicker hair?

it's all in your genes... your hair is what it is... there's no product you can use, but if you're really self conscience about it you can go to the hair club and get transplants on the top of your head.
