What exactly does 'hair relaxing' means?

is it like perming or treatment? is it good for my hair?

What exactly does 'hair relaxing' means?

Relaxing is different from perming.Perming is used to curl the hair. Relaxing is used to straighten the hair. I 'm not sure what your hair texture is but it really depends on what you want and the history of your hair. by history I mean have your hair ever been chemically treated for any reason? Colors, dies, perming, bleaching or highlights. You always should go to a professional cosmetologist for any chemical process because you do not want to be bald from experimenting on your own.

What exactly does 'hair relaxing' means?

Hair relaxing, is like permanent straightening, but it depends on how naturally wavy or curly your hair is in the first place. If it is naturally VERY curly, relaxing is likely to tame it to waves. and if it is just wavy, it is likely to tame it so its straight...

It is not very good for your hair, as it uses chemicals as in perming solutions....

hope this helps! :)

Mostly for african/ carribean women with kinky hair. it makes the hair go straight

What exactly does 'hair relaxing' means?

Hair relaxers are usually chemical based and bad for your hair and scalp. It straightens hair. There are some organic ones available though. Not sure how good they are.
