Hello, Is anyone familiar with the CHI Permanent Hair Transformation method? I live in a humid climate and my hair is pretty frizzy so I want it straightened. Has anyone had problems with this method? (This isn't the flat iron. It's a treatment done in a salon that permanently straightens hair, much like the Japanese hair straightening method but I was told it's better for hair that is exposed to alot of humidity.)

CHI is a wonderful brand. They do everything so high class. Permanent straightening is a good fix for frizzy hair, but it leaves your hair so straight that it can cause damage to it. If you dont mind havaing alot of split ends and damaged hair then go for it! But if you ever wat to curl or blow dry your hair again, i reccommend you stick to straightening it and using hair spray...

nooo!!! my friend who has like this reeely firzzy hair land like she went to this salon place and is getting like what you said and it like looks terreble it never moves!!
