Would I be Able To Dye My Damaged Hair?

I have damaged hair.

Here is what I have done to it:

4 years ago, dyed it for the 1st time

3 years ago, dyed it again

2 years ago, dyed it again

1 year ago, dyed it

1/2 year ago, dyed it and got a perm

it was really damaged for the longest time, but now its a lot better, bot nearly as damaged. But the perm lightened my hair considerably and i dont like my hair color. Its kinda a strawberry blonde, yet it has more of a golden tone to it.

Would i be able to dye it to a dark brown/medium brown without completely killing my hair?

Also if i do this i am going to get all the conditioners for damaged hair and do hot oil treatments, just as i did every other time i chemically made a change in my hair.

Also, if i dyed my hair dark brown, would it actually look dark brown, or would it look black?

stop damaging your hair

I would not attempt in. Do you heat syle as well?

As much as you do to your hair, you must be very careful. Your hair could end up breaking off from all the damage. I would lay off for awhile.

It would look black, especially if your hair is damaged, the damaged parts will look extremely dark. I've dyed over dyed hair and that portion of my hair always came out dark, with my roots being the perfect shade.

If you dye it again, you could risk more damage to your hair. Try to let your hair grow out as much as you can to avoid completely damaging your hair.
