What do they mean by "Treatments"...it's about Laser Hair Removal....!!!?

im a guy and i have decided to get my arms lasered...my arms are so hairy but i dont want a COMPLETE removal...i found a place in my city and in their websites says 4 treatments cost me about $800...what is a treatment ? does it mean that during each treatment i get my whole arm lasered or is it like a square inch or somethin like that???

Thanks....

No, you don't get an inch or two at a time. With laser hair removal the first or even second "treatment" doesn't always remove ALL the hair. Especially if your skin is a dark tone. The eaiest hair to remove is from fair skinned people.

Treatment just means each visit. You'd get one treatment of your whole arm, but its not permenent. Then you'd go back for a 2nd or 3rd or even 4th. For it to be permenent you would have to do the whole proceedure about 3 or 4 times. Then you'd be good to go with no hair.

Expensive eh? Actually thats quite costly. Shop around, see if you can find somewhere cheaper. I've actually considered doing laser hair removal for my underarms. On one hand its alot of money to fork out but on the other how much are you going to spend years to come on temporary hair removal such as razors, shaving cream or even having it removed by waxing at a salon.

Actually have you considered just having them waxed? My sister is an esthetitcian and if you have your arms waxed every 6-8 weeks for a few years it actually weakens the hair folicle and your hairs start growing in less noticable. After many years your hair can basically stop growing.

Anywho, hoped this helped! :)
