Would a hair dresser be able to shape my eyebrows and make them more feminine looking?

My hair dresser is a lovely girl but I do not want to make her feel uncomfortable, she has cut my hair for two years now and is very good. I know she is doing other beauty treatments in the salon, but is it likely she would freak out if I ask her to make my eyebrows more gender neutral, and maybe more feminine in style without giving too much away?

Just book in for an eyebrow shaping and before she does it she will ask you what you are looking to achieve, you could say you just want them to look neater and tidier. Once she does them you thank her and say that's great...then at your next appointment if you want them even more feminine just say you'd like them a bit more thinner. The reason I've suggested doing it in a couple of stages is so that it doesn't look such a drastic difference to your appearance immediately so people won't think straight away oh hes had his eyebrows done. Gradually is more subtle.

why not explain it to her properly and you may make a friend for life...well a hairdresser at least. If she freaks change your hairdresser....plenty of talented people out there.

Most hair dressers can easily wax the eyebrows. If you want to find out her reaction ask her something like " what do you think about guys getting their eyebrows done?" Or something like that. If your not comfortable with that then you can always go somewhere else to get them done. But then she will notice them different and could be insulted.

Either way they get paid to do hair and wether she agrees with what you want done she will do it.

Wouldn't hurt to ask her, "hey, I was thinking about getting my eyebrows shaped, they're a little aggressive for me as they are. What do you think?" and if she doesn't do that she could probably connect you with someone who can. Maybe say you're looking for a more "elegant" or "gentle" or "subtle" look for them, if you're uncomfortable saying you want them more feminine.

Do be aware that's probably going to be a waxing or plucking operation, though.

it depends on how your eyebrows are shaped.... and i dont think she would care... thats her job to make sure you're satisfied with whatever you're getting... not to be mean but this is kind of a dumb question...

If she's narrow-minded and combines church and state, so to speak, it's time to find a new hair dresser.

I am sure loads of men get their eyebrows done, I know lots of men have massages in beauty salons... so whats the difference really? Just ask... theres no reason why she wouldnt.. shed be taking ur money after all!

i don't see why she would feel uncomfortable. Casually say

" I'm thinking of changing my eyebrows what do you think? Im thinking of making them thinner." If she sounds uncomfortable then talk to a cosmetologist

they should i get mine waxed a lot cause really bushy manly untaimed eyebrows and they keep shape for about 2 months after waxing
