I'm dyeing my hair and i need suggestions on treatments to use to prepare my hair for Bleeching, I'm going to a professional colourist to do it, but i was wondering if anyone knew what i could use to condition my hair so it doesn't fall out or snap or break %26amp; doesn't go frizzy and gross. Please help!

let me tell you right away...if your hair is naturally black it MIGHT go blonde. if your hair is colored black dont even think about it. it will not come all the way up... at best it will be a nasty brown to orange color that nothing over it looks good . and if it does come up it will prob break off and/or be fried dyed and laid to the side.. i dont want that for you. talk to your hairdresser first and see if it can even be done.and also ask him/her what is the best treatment for your hair.....also, you have to get redken at a salon.

Make sure you get some good conditioner from the salon. I recommend biolage or paul mitchell. They both have intensive therapy treatments for processed hair. Also, I would recommend not washing your hair everyday. This makes the color last longer and it prevents your cuticle from drying out.

from black to blonde, ur hair will get very dry so u need to mosturise a lot. the hair will lose its outer protective layer so u have to protect it from severe dryness especially now since its summer

use mosturising shampoo and conditioner for treated or coloured hair

do weekly deep conditioning using hair mask from kerastase or hot oil treatment using olive oil

use leave-in conditioner or hair serum from loreal or pantene.

dont comb ur hair while its still wet, this will make it fall

use less heat appliances especially immediately after going blonde

i suggest you use pantene pro-v,dove,or Pantene restoratives.I like that shampoo.....it's good and it prevents damage to your hair. i used it since i was little infant. well the original one pantene.

I have experienced going from black to blonde and I definitely recommend Kerastase products especially their Nutritive line. It's a bit pricey but it really protected my hair from dryness and breakage. If you can't find Kerastase products, look for treatments that are high in protein because these will make your hair stronger and not prone to break. Also ask your stylist if they have no-ammonia bleach. No-ammonia bleach is "gentler" but takes a longer time lightening hair. Ask your stylist if its suited for you. Tip: a day or two before you bleach your hair, don't wash or shampoo. Your natural oils will condition your hair and will protect your scalp from dryness and "stinging" because bleach is a strong chemical and it will irritate when it touches the skin.

You would purchase those products from a hair salon. If you have a hair stylist, ask them to help recommend products. If the stylist that is doing your hair knows what they are doing, then there should be no damaging or breaking of the hair. Hair color and bleaches have come a very long way. They are so much better on the hair than they use to! Good luck!

The best thing you could is start gettin alot of products that mouitouiruze your hair e.g. shampoo, conditioner, creams,

anything you can get.. and after dyeing your hair then get even more treatments like pantene pro-v or somthing..

go to a state beauty supplier in your local area for salon product otherwise get it done professionally just because of the simple fact timing dark hair is nearly impossible its best just to go to a state beauty supplier or maybe even A Sally's but be careful dying dark to light can be risky and may change your hair colors you don't agree with... good luck
