Okay so i have natural blonde hair and I have been dying my hair black underneath for about 3 years. i decided to go all back blonde. I went to a salon and she bleached it and used toner. It was orange!!! Went back about 3 days later and bleach sat on my hair for 3 hours straight!!! Then she used toner. Well good news is is back to my natural blonde (color is 8n blonde) but the bad news is my hair is FRIED!!!!!!!!! HUH OH!! It has probably gotten about almost 2 inches shorter since then. YIKES! Using lots of leave in conditioner day and night. and deep conditioner once a week... also split end treatment and a nutregena product for over processed hair!!

Did a Licensed Cosmetologist do this to you? You ought to file a complaint if she doesn't offer some help for the situation. Usually it's best to make such drastic changes in steps - especially from very dark to very light shades. Since you skipped that part, you ought to use only very gentle shampoo and conditioners. Avoid over styling your hair. Let it dry naturally if possible, and keep the curling iron or flat iron away from you hair for the next six months or so.

Good luck to you. I've over processed my hair before with perming, and it takes time to get better.

Olive oil is good too. All you can do is wait and trim the ends, sorry

Unfortunately 'OVER PROCESSED' hair is just that. There is no going back. Be very careful not to over use protein treatments as they will burn your hair.....stick to cholesterol treatments...You can find it in Sally Beauty Supply in large quantities....get the big one as you will be conditioning till this grows out. Shampoo, apply the cholesterol and dampen a towel put it in a micro wave for 2 min. and place it on your head, making sure the towel is not too hot. Leave on for 1/2 hour. You can lightly shampoo this out if you feel you should.
